Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Courses
Successfully Leading a Primary School Curriculum
Course Description
Curriculum development is a top priority for all school leaders and especially now as we begin to open up schools and welcome back our young people.
Undoubtedly, curriculum planning post-pandemic must be done with particular care to ensure we balance meeting the mental and emotional wellbeing needs of all learners with monitoring academic progress and providing the support students will need over the coming months.

Judith Green:
Judith’s highly successful career has encompassed primary teaching, leadership and management and taken her from small village school through to some of Britain’s most needy and demanding urban educational environments.
Actively working alongside HMI and OFSTED, she helps support schools as they look to raise their standards during what can sometimes be very difficult self-improvement journeys.
A strong feature of Judith’s leadership is not just her ability to keep abreast of the most cutting edge educational ideas, but the way she is able to sift the truly innovative idea from just the fad.
She believes every child deserves the very best education possible and that it is the responsibility of teachers and school leaders to deliver this, a philosophy that is very much reflected in her coaching and mentoring methods.
Now Judith is taking on a new challenge as the founding headteacher of an entirely new British international school of some 800 pupils. Under her leadership, the school has already become a vibrant and outstanding example of academic, pastoral and vocational excellence.

Costa is a passionate and driven educator with over 18 years’ experience teaching in London and international schools. He is also a director of Veema Education.
With his many years both in the classroom and at leadership level, Costa understands first hand the needs and priorities of today’s schools, not least the necessity of every educationalist to take responsibility for their own learning. This is a philosophy he communicates through national and international keynote speeches.
It is also very much part of the workshops he leads on improving teaching, learning and school leadership, and the implementation and effective management of change.
To enable schools to better evaluate the impact of their professional development training, Costa has developed Veema’s unique four-step CPD model — ‘Consult, Tailor, Deliver, Reflect’.
Costa is particularly adept at using collaboration to create the conditions for effective leadership and to encourage the attainment of ambitious educational goals. Throughout his career, he has led successful teams and been proactive in school improvement initiatives.
Known for the warmth, humanity, honesty and fun he brings to every educational situation, Costa is motivated by a desire to create the best possible opportunities for the young people in his care so they come to recognise their own potential and are inspired to achieve it.
